Any Company or Small Business should have a Company Doctor. This Doctor must be qualified in Occupational Medicine.
When employing new staff a pre-employment medical examination should be carried out to find out if there are any predisposing problems.
Employees have to work in various environments, which are covered by the RIDDOR and STRIDDOR regulations.
A regular review of hazards and other Health and Safety matters and a legal requirement. The review should be carried out, by someone qualified in Occupational Medicine.
Long term sickness and other medical problems with employees can be resolved by an Occupational Medicine Physician.
